I scratched the surface many times
and many crafts that could be mine
But I don't see the point today

If she stepped up closer and gave me a kiss
But she gave me a fiver , then she sat down
I gave her my best and played her a song
She praised my music but said that this place
Was not the right spot for me to get paid
I thanked her kindly for her sound advise
I wished I could join her but to no surprise
She got in the car, in the passengers seat
I turned to the sunset, and swallowed defeat
